FAQ

Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions

How long does it take to complete the ER Program?
The good news is, it's entirely up to you! The ER Program was designed to be done in your own time, at your own pace. We would recommend putting aside 30 minutes every week to complete the program modules, and other 'homework' such as brainstorming content ideas, or researching or consuming media. We'd recommend that you continue to put aside regular time for media engagement once you've finished the program too. However, we understand that sometimes life gets in the way! It may take you 6, 8 or 12 weeks - or even 12 months. The program is here whenever you need it.
What happens when I complete the ER Program?
Our final module, Module 8, presents members with a range of options to continue their media journey. One option for our ER graduates, once they've completed the program, is to activate their Expert Registry profiles and complete a media assessment to make them visible to over 700 media decision makers, all over Australia. ER graduates will also get an opportunity to proactively contribute and pitch a piece of content direct to media. ER graduates may also step up their media journey and join our partner company, Media Stable. The cost of the ER Program will be deducted off the cost of their Media Stable profile.
How do I book in to the live and digital events?
ER & ER Platinum members will receive regular email updates from the ER team, with exclusive invitations to our monthly member webinars and digital events. These will include Q & A's themed webinars and masterclasses featuring an experienced media expert. Live events will be held a few times per year, COVID-19 permitting! We will also be holding a handful of free information events and webinars over the year - stay tuned to our website, our mailing list or our socials for updates on these.
How do I submit my first story to media?
First, you'll need to complete the ER Program! The program will take you through all aspects of what it takes to be successful in media. Once you've completed the program and are ready to activate your Expert Registry profile, contact us to arrange your media assessment. Finally, you'll then be able to put together your first story to media - our team will work with you to edit, position and then pitch to media all over Australia.
